“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson (adapted by Nelson Mandela at his inauguration As President Of The Democratic Republic Of South Africa Union Buildings)

Another Singapore Idol is born. But somehow, it is dejavu all over again. 1) A Malay and a rocker Chinese in the final 2. 2) The Malay won. 3) Third place, a Chinese girl who will most likely get a slimming endorsement. ~Haiz~

I'm bored. So very bored. Been at home since Wednesday night and had never left the house ever since. The thing is, there is nothing to do. Sure, I have my school work. But I've finished it in a day. So, back to Square 1. Why am I so bored? Every Friday and Saturday the same. Other people seems to be so busy. I'm just like someone in a movie whereby everything and everyone just flashes past me. And you know what flashes past as well? My life. Zoom!! Hmm.. What is that thing that just zoomed past me? Oh.. It's my life.. People envy me that I can be bored as they have so many things to do. But I rather have plenty of things to do to occupy my time. At least I'm being productive. At least I actually acheive something. With so much free time on my hands, my mind idles. And you know what people say, an idle mind is the devil's playground. So I try not to think too much. By doing what? Watch TV. By there is only so much TV one can watch. So I sleep. But sleep too much, I get headaches. And people start calling me 'pig' and 'lazy'. I feel like slapping these people. They think I like to sleep ah? I've got nothing to do, that's why! Life is meaningless! (right, Siqiang? That is, if he is reading this..)

Yours Truly
~~~JING ER~~~
*Just an ordinary girl made extraordinary by God*
*Interestingly and uniquely created*
*Never fail to be amazed by God's love, grace and mercy*
*Going on a journey to become the woman God's created me to be*
*Everytime I am lost, I know His love will lead me home*
*Refreshed whenever I turn to Him*
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God
that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
