On 22 July 2007, I posted a blog entry with the heading "Hang on tight, C4ians.. God is going to move in the midst of us; a mighty wave is coming.. "

God did move mightily those days. For almost every Sundays then, we could see God moving.

Then I think somehow the fire died. Somehow the absence of God was felt, rather than the presence of God. Just last week, I was actually angry with the people of C4 during worship. Most of them were not responding. Granted that the WL was Willy, granted that Willy almost never ask the congregation to stand, but even if sitting, when worshipping the King of all kings, how can they not respond? Like what Serene once told me, "How dare they sit during worship? Dun they know they are worshipping the King of Majesty? The King of all kings?"

What she said left a deep impression in me. I began to realise that we shouldn't allow our guilt, our pride, our emotions to hinder us from worship. Worship is all about Him, not us. It's not abt what we have done wrong or not done; but it's about giving Him the glory that He deserves.

Having said that, yesterday's worship was great. I feel relieved knowing that God did not pass us by. As I reflect upon it, there is indeed a stirring in C4. It is subtle but truly n surely, God is moving. I, for one, am guilty of expecting God to move in certain ways to show us that He is indeed moving. I expect Him to do this and do that, then I will believe He has moved. But who am I to tell God what He should or should not do? He alone is God and His ways are always always the best.

I stand by my claim that God is moving in C4. I can see the desire in some of C4ians hearts that something has to be done in C4, regarding our communion with God. We are praying more, we are crying out to God more for His touch. Yes, C4 has its problems and sometimes we may see that there is no way to get rid of them. But the God of C4 is also the God of all. He will and can move mountians.
